October 2022- Current. Parter & CEO Operadora Hotelera Dominicana. Thanks to the experience gained in the previous project, years of working in large companies and through various contacts, the opportunity to partner again in a macro development project of a multi-brand hotel operator company in the Dominican Republic with a projection of managing 25 hotels in two years.

June 2020-September 2022. Director of Operations The Oxo House. Following my voluntary departure from Jamaica, I decided to move on to create a hotel operating company in the Dominican Republic together with a former co-worker and now partner in this project. During this period we incorporated up to a total of 10 hotels of different sizes to our management company, creating and leading from the beginning the operations of those hotels.

December 2018 – May 2020. Director of Operations Bahia Principe Jamaica. Runaway Bay, St. Ann. Jamaica. Promoted and transferred as Director of Operations to another Piñero Group property located in Jamaica, consisting of two hotels totaling 1,375 rooms, in addition to overseeing the rest of the group’s companies, water activities, photography, electric vehicles, inbound, etc.

February 2018 – November 2018. General Manager of the Bahia Principe Playa Nueva Romana Resort, La Romana, Dominican Republic. General Management of a complex consisting of two hotels of 800 beds each, two golf courses, a residential of villas and apartments and a shopping center.

February 2014 -February 2018. Director Grupotel Mallorca Mar, Cala Bona, Son Servera, Mallorca. Relocated to Mallorca to host the management of Grupotel’s latest acquisition of this 1,100 bed All Inclusive seasonal hotel. Adaptation to Grupotel’s brand and standards and management of the establishment.

March 2010 – January 2014. Director Grupotel Club Turquesa Mar, currently “Holiday Village Menorca”, TUI UK’s exclusive All Inclusive product of 660 beds, Son Xoriguer Beach, Cala’n Bosch, Ciudadela, Menorca. Adequacy and launching of the Holiday Village product and subsequent management of the hotel. During 2010 I was managing these last two hotels jointly.

April 2009 – February 2011. Director Grupotel Club Menorca, Son Xoriguer Beach, Cala’n Bosch, Ciudadela, Menorca. Seasonal hotel manager with his usual duties.

January 2008 – November 2008. Manager Prinsotel La Dorada, Playas de Muro, Majorca. Seasonal hotel manager with regular duties.

August 2006 – January 2008. General Manager, Gran Bahía Príncipe El Portillo, Las Terrenas, Samaná, Dominican Republic. Opening of the Hotel in November 2006 starting from the completion of construction in August of the same year and the process of opening and management of the hotel until January 2008.

June 2004 – August 2006. Resident Manager, Canoa Coral by Hilton Hotel, Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. Follow up of the daily operations of the Hotel.

January 2003 – January 2004. General Manager, Hotel Horizontes Villa Tortuga Gret, Varadero. Cuba. General Management of the Hotel, operation, economic results and marketing of the Latin America and Canada part, together with local TT.OO.

July 2001 – August 2002. Resident Manager, acting as General Manager, Secrets Excellence Punta Cana. Uvero Alto. Dominican Republic. Full responsibility for the management of the Hotel during the 10 month extended absence of the General Manager. Operation and economic results of the hotel, and marketing for the Americas with the support of a commercial team.

July 2000 – June 2001. Accommodation Manager, Hotel Horizontes Hotetur Sunbeach Varadero. Varadero. Varadero. Cuba. In charge of the departments related to lodging and dealing with the local TT.OO.

July 1999 – June 2000. Assistant Manager Beach Hotel, Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort. Bávaro Beach, Dominican Republic. Control of the Hotel operation.
