I am so proud to share this issue of Grupo GDV newsletter, for we have waited a long, long time to be able to share with you solid results, and what better way to share with you the toping of 4 of our hotel projects?
Aside from the obvious below, we have a handful of exciting new projects, new partners, and alliance announcements to share within the next few weeks.
I want to congratulate Mr. Jose Rosado Toros, owner of Constructora Armando Toros. His organization is one that I highly respect;they have delivered on what it promised to Grupo GDV and Wyndham, which was to follow our strict hotel development timeline to open our hotels by early summer 2025.

Additionally, I would like to congratulate Estrella and Tupete for working diligently to ensure that the construction of La Quinta Puerto Plata remains on its timeline and budget to open in late summer 2024.
Together, this partnership between Guillermo Estrella, Silvia Constanza Vela Mantilla, The Santanas, and Grupo GDV has delivered 105 rooms between Super 8 Manzanillo and Wyndham Garden Montecristi and, coming soon, La Quinta Puerto Plata.
La Quinta by Wyndham Puerto Plata – Opening 2024: The first upper mid scale select service American Branded Hotel in Puerto Plata in over 30 years.
Wyndham continues to expand the La Quinta brand – a leading upper-midscale brand with nearly 940 hotels offering contemporary design, thoughtful amenities, and friendly service – worldwide. Now on its 4th construction floor, La Quinta Puerto Plata is slated to open in late summer 2024.
The hotel will have single and double rooms and, for the first time, a handful of rooms designed for larger families.
